Energy Healing

Good posts on this site about energy healing.. which goes way beyond that of the normal medical paradigm of "lets look for the smallest particle that has gone wrong and find a drug that will fix it".

Energy healing looks to balance to field of the person being healed. I would like to suggest that CHIOS Energy Field Healing drop the word 'patient" from their vocabulary. "Patient" puts the receiver of the energy healing right back into the framework of one who is being worked on.. one who has no responsibilty in their own healing, but one who is the victim is some sense of the word.

Let us assume responsibility for our own health with the aid of others who may assist us to return to coherence, to balance to wholeness.

Thank you CHIOS for the good word and the good work - but please delete "patient" from your vocabulary. Thank you again.

Kuwait Adventure

Silence on this blog for a couple of weeks.. once again I have been away - this time in Kuwait. The desert - an interesting land, with a warm and hospitable people totally involved in 'family' however a short stay there helps me realise how happy I am that I am privileged to live in Australia.

A population of 2.9 million - yes they have no tax,and yes it costs about 1/8th to fill the tank as it does here.. 1 vehicle to every 2.8 residents, in 2005 reported accidents 56,253, 451 deaths on the road - and over 1 million registered vehicles. Everyone talks on their mobile phone while driving - no-one seems to obey any rules. So sedate Perth's 50 km limits and nanny state rules are almost welcome on my return.

The land is barren.. well it is desert! But the people imagine that they are in nature when in fact they are right next to two highways and sundry high power overhead lines as well as building sites and dust storms.

Thank goodness for quiet old Perth's clean beaches and quiet nights with the worst noise being that of the crickets outside my window.

And to think that I .. a lone female would be overjoyed at the welcoming smile on the cab drivers face at Singapore airport as I landed on my way back home. He was saying hello.. something that I did not experience from a male freely anywhere in Kuwait.

Travel is a wonderful thing - it opens our eyes to those on the other side of the world, it helps us to realise we are world citizens and that the thing we should be afraid of - as they said on the last Glass House last night.. is not those who are different or who have a different God, but those who are stupid! Hail to the difference.. Hail to those who live and love in all different guises and let us become full of light, and leave the ignorance of bigotry and fear behind us.

It exists here as much as it does in the Middle East .. the Mid West and the out back! and .. thank my existence for being able to live it the beauty and peacefulness of Perth Western Australia.

Cheap laptops notebooks Australia for sale

Buyer beware... two purchases.. one was okay after a minor problem which was fairly quickly cleared up - the other first lacked a working sound card - fix was promised and did not arrive for three weeks, then did not work. Return of laptop effected but promise of refund still has not been completed almost two months after the initial purchase.

as I said.. be aware!
This site although it purports to sell cheap laptops - I guess you would do much better at one of the big name stores!

This site is NOT recommended.

Junk Food and Violence Linked by Study

Finally - research on British and US offenders suggest that nutrition may play a role in aggressive behaviour. Omega-3 fatty acids are helping folks to become more balanced and sane.

They say:
....the new research calls into question the very basis of criminal justice and the notion of culpability. It suggests that individuals may not always be responsible for their aggression. Taken together with a study in a high-security prison for young offenders in the UK, it shows that violent behaviour may be attributable at least in part to nutritional deficiencies.

A 37% decrease in violent offences has been seen in people who were given multivitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids.

Have a look at the full article it is very interesting.

Especially the chart of a young offenders usuall diet!! Yeek!!

Fall of the Berlin Wall

On this day in 1989, Communist-controlled East Germany opened gates in the Berlin Wall allowing its citizens to freely travel into West Germany. After 28 years of separation for East and West, East Germans surged through at midnight cheering and shouting and were met by jubilant West Berliners on the other side. Ecstatic crowds clambered up the Wall, danced along the top and eventually began hacking large chunks from it with hand tools.

This was a great day for freedom and worth our thoughts today!

Italian Adventure

I have been on holiday so no posts in the past couple of weeks! That's my excuse and I am sticking to it!! A recommended sojourn - but I would absolutely suggest that you don't try to do as much as we did in a short time.

Pick an area and stay there! We did Rome 3 days - Amalfi Coast 3 days - Cinque Terre 3 days - then Tuscany for the remaining 4.

Tuscany - or Toscana in local lingua - and Cinque Terre woudl have been plenty. In fact two weeks in Toscana would have been fabulous. So much to see and do - Florence itself could warrant at least 5 days!

So I have made a resolution - at least two good holidays a year - what's the point of grinding our noses into the ground - let's get out there and get some different viewpoints on life and enjoy - after all life is meant to be enjoyed I am sure.
