Mobile phones - helpful tricks

EMERGENCY
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112
If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an
emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to
establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112
can be dialled even if the keypad is locked.

And another really nifty trick!!

This may come in handy someday and is a good reason to own a cell phone:

If you lock your keys in the car and your car opens with a remote, and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone.

Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person
at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on
their end.
Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your
keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away,
and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you
can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

The person who sent this through to us by email said:
Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!"

Great trick.. only trouble was last time I locked myself out of my car was at the beach.. I dumped my bag including keys and mobile phone in the surf as I fell over! Ooops.. the whole went!

International Talk Like a Pirate Day!!

Aaaaarrrrgh me hearties.. don't miss the opportunity to ham it up and talk like a pirate all day today!!
For more on this crazy and whimsical day that is sweeping the planet.. known as far afield as the New Zealand town of Wainuiomata check out this site.

There's even a song about the day.. you can sing along here!

So me hearties.. aargh.... have a grand day.. may the sails on your ship fill with favourable winds and sweep you along on the crest of the wave..may the booty of times past fall into yer lap - pieces of eight and other plunder. May the rum flow freely and the ship's biscuit be not too 'ard.

and don't forget yer parrot!

Albert

I met a man called Albert at the Chris Howard Seminar last weekend.. he was 82 years old and was sprightly to say the least. He was there to clear some blocks that he had regarding his family who he felt were wanting him to hold back.

He wanted to create more money again for them it seemed..
an honorable man - with a very nice smile and heaps of courage.

If you ever get to read this Albert .. then it would be nice to have coffee one day?
