Happy Earth Day

Today is the day to remind ourselves that we can support our planet in her time of need. Because frankly .. its our time of need too - we are of course not removed from our Earth.. and every little bit of awareness that we can grow in relation to assisting with sustainability is needed now.

Simple things help.. no need to get complicated and think that you have no chance of making a difference. We can all make a difference. Today - just for one day - starting now, don't buy or take free any plastic bags, cover your food with another plate, buy food that is sold loose, not packaged in more stuff to throw away.

Walk when you can rather than jumping in the car for that short distance.

Turn off your electrical appliances - don't leave them on standby.. they use lots more power that way. Turn off unneeded lights.

Forget the chemicals and the pesticides - use natural fertilisers on your gardens and lawns.

Turn off your sprinklers to conserve our precious water - now the weather is cooler here in Oz and the grass is wet in the morning from the dew.

Stand up for our trees!

Here is some interesting info about what fish is healthier and more sustainable to eat - our oceans are fast becoming depleted - its up to us to shop responsibly.

And on this day - take some time to sit on the ground, to connect with the Mother Earth, and simply bless her for sustaining us all of this time.

Have a great Day!

The Tunnel

I subscribe to a daily email from Neale Donald Walsch - and just wanted to share his latest with you...
"......when you see the light at the end of the tunnel, it
is not beneficial to go out and build more tunnel.

It was John Quinton who observed that politicians do
that. Maybe you've caught yourself doing it, too. Just
when things look like they're getting better, you start
seeing more things that "aren't right," or "could go
wrong."

The Universe is essentially a friendly place. So friendly,
in fact, that it will give you exactly what you expect
it to.

Isn't that wonderful? Of course, it depends on what
you expect..."

He has some gems.. and I enjoy the glimpses he gives that keep us on track! Go to his site and subscribe if you liked this one!

Have a great day

Comment on modern Government

We subscribe to a newsletter called The Daily Reckoning for another point of view on what is happening in the economical situation of the world.. and this comment in their email this morning I found to be very telling and despite the discomfort of it.. it made me smile!
--modern government has grown so grotesquely fat and ubiquitous that an entire generation of Westerners have been trained to think only the government can and should solve problems. It's like having an Uncle stuck in your living room who's become too fat to move. You have to feed and clean and care for him and after awhile he becomes a living piece of inconvenient and intrusive furniture right smack in the middle of your life.
Sounds like a call to wake up to our own responsibility in governing ourselves as well as in taking care of our health. What we see on the outside as the ills of the world are simply reflected in our own bodies and our own lives. If you are the person who is becoming too fat to move as you were designed by nature to do.. its time to take responsibility.

and of course if you need any help with that.. Best Health is still here.. we are committed to our own good health and to yours.

Facilitation or Healing?

I have been having some very interesting insights about these terms. It seems to me that healing belongs in the world of duality. Let me expand a little on this idea - if I am to heal you that may infer that you are unhealed. That is that you are in a state of need. And I as the healer am in a state of healed, well or healthy - therefore I can heal.
Does this not create duality? where one being is the healer and the other needing the healing?

Facilitation could be considered to be a more evolved frame of reference - in that if we are to facilitate the return to balance - or to the state of coherence - it simply means we point the way - or usher the person toward that state.

Our words and the way we express ourselves create our reality. "I am a healer" - do these words say: - "others (or something) needs to be healed?"

It is a time of discussions about healing the planet. Is this planet this earth of ours really requiring 'healing'?

The original inhabitants of Australia walk the song lines - they sing the land into existence - by their very connectedness they allow the potential of the land to reveal itself. This is facilitation. Not healing.

So therefore in order to facilitate the return to coherence of our earth - we do not need to heal the planet - simply to become coherent - connected ourselves.

It is our responsibility to move to this state. There is nothing else to do but this. It is time to step up into this place - now.

"World-Healers" an excerpt from What Matters Now

This excerpt from What Matters Now - really touched me - and I didn't want you to miss it so here it is. Thank you Seth Godin for making this possible.

All traditional cultures recognize certain people as
natural-born mystical healers (shamans, medicine
men, pick your label). Modern Western culture
has no category for such people. But that doesn’t
mean they aren’t here. Right now, everywhere,
ordinary people born to the archetype of the
shaman are feeling compelled to begin finding one
another and fulfilling their inborn purpose.

The great challenge of the 21st century is to wage
peace on a globe full of humans while repairing the
unintended damage we’ve inflicted on ourselves,
other beings, and the earth. We need modern
shamans to channel ancient “technologies of
magic” like empathy, creativity, art, and spiritual
interconnection, through “magical technologies”
like medicine, computers, and satellites.

That marriage of ancient and cutting-edge genius can
heal hearts, minds, beasts, plants, ecosystems—
almost anything.
If you feel something stirring in your heart at the
thought that you may be shaman-born, pay
attention.

This is not an accident. Some as-yet
unexplained force is calling you join in a healing of
unprecedented scope. And though that healing
will, of course, follow the laws of science, doing it
will feel like pure magic.

What Matters Now

These days it becomes so important to really connect - to be real - to say what you mean - to mean what you say - there is no point any more in beating around the bush, there is not time any more to hold grudges, to bother about regrets, and past events. They are simply the ghost in the machine - the unreal. Ghosts are not real - they only start to appear so if we give them a lot of energy.

Its time to recognise them for what they are - simply ghosts and as such they can be blown away in a small puff of wind. Don't let them become real by giving them any energy. When the guilt or the fear or the regret or the anger or the dislike of self arises - recognise it - "You are just a ghost - begone!"

Enjoy.
