Roger Hamilton and XL

I have just come back from the Wealth Dynamics Training on the Gold Coast.
It was amazing.. what a wonderful three days.

Roger Hamilton has a vision that is more than exciting for me as it fits with so much that I have felt for a very long time. Let's get out there and create wealth together so that we can start giving back in a big way.

I already feel wealthy - I feel as if I live in total abundance, but until now, I could not see the way clear to creating enough to be able to really give back and make a big difference on the planet.
I have now been given the tools to do just that. It is time to step up to our full responsibilities as creators and human beings on this earth. It is time to really make a difference. It is not possible to do this alone. We need each other and we need to drop the competition that is the precursor to all wars.
It is time.

Step up and be counted in this paradigm that says together we can change this world.

Floating Rubbish Dump - time to give plastic the flick.

This is a horrifying story - and the worst part is that it is not a tale - but true.
I read only yesterday that San Francisco has banned plastic shopping bags. Please for the sake of our oceans and for our wildlife and ultimately for our own lives, let us ban plastic bags as well now.
It is already too late for many birds and other sea life .. now killed by this mass of plastic debris.

Moore, an oceanographer who has made the study of the patch his full-time occupation, believes there is about 100 million tonnes of plastic circulating in the northern Pacific - or about 2.5 per cent of all plastic items made since 1950.

China is to ban free plastic bags country wide from June..

lets wake up and ban plastic bags now.

Antarctica.. segment two..

I realise there is so much more to share re my trip to Antarctica... but it it almost impossible to describe this adventure. even with photos and descriptions.

One thing I wanted to tell you was that this experience is haunting me.. it has had an extensive effect and I am still not sure that it is over yet.. it seems that the things I was shown there have the possibility of far reaching effects that I am as yet largely unaware of..

This photo is taken around midnight in the Lemaire Channel... it is our first real glimpse of the sun and that sun is almost setting. We were to round the corner of this Channel, and head 2 nautical miles, into a sudden head wind carrying freezing cold sleet! About 1.30 am I was in the bar, still in my thermals, having stripped off my dry suit, and grabbed a hot chocolate .. to be laced with rum!
What a paddle..! It was like that.. so many emotions and changes in each paddle.. we could start out with sleet and end up in the light.. or vice versa.. or three things in one paddle!! emotions.. well/ Fear, anxiety .,, anger .. at not being able to hitch on the skirt or spray protector. Joy awe, total sensation of being immersed in beauty unimaginable.

Antarctica

I'm back.. so much for blogging my journey.. sorry folks.. too much to see, do and be in to possibly spend time on the computer!
What to say about this wonderful journey - please feel free to check out some of the photos I managed to take - here

Antarctica emptied me out .. then filled me ..
gave me a perspective that was larger than before - assisted me to see the detail, the real, and the essentials - showed me how fragile is our planet - this microcosm that is the Antarctic Peninsula - so delicate in its balance, all that exists there hangs by a tenuous thread - incredibly hardy, but also incredibly vulnerable.

Would I recommend this journey. A heartfelt YES - and also I would highly recommend the company we went with .. Aurora Expeditions they were great.. couldn't fault their organisation and their crew. Excellent .. great food, great lectures, good staff, and so much enthusiasm and energy for really going for it. Thanks guys.. you did a wonderful job!

Buenos Aires

The first leg of the journey - big bustling noisy city.. my facts guide book says it is the third noisiest city in the world!! well don´t quite know how they work that out but it sure is noisy. And incredibly diverse - from high class shops to slums - villa miseria they are called. (it seems they even run tourist bus trips to see them!!!) that´s pretty weird.

On another subject entirely..Food is great - the best sirloin steak I ever ate I think.. good restaurant. Well somewhere I didn´t expect to have decent food at all - just a cafeteria sort of place - almost the type that would have plastic tablecloths at the end of a touristy cheap shopping mall. A steak to die for, a beer, a bottle of water and a salad and all for less than $12. no complaints there.
Today had a great wander is an antique market - called Feria San Telmo - old buildings good street musicians and interesing art.

I still haven´t managed to catch any good tango, but hopefully won´t manage to leave before I do. It seems that most things are closed on Christmas day.. like everywhere else in the world.. well that is of course except for the Muslim world - so it will be an opportunity just to wander and take in the sights with no temptation to shop.
But that said, I am still considering heading off to Uruguay tomorrow.. just for the day - more on that later.
the internet is so great.. Sahaja is on line now so I am off to chat!
thanks for reading!!

The Adventure Begins! Antarctica Here I Come.

All the last minute packing has been done, the panicking that maybe I don't have enough warm clothes.. and then the .. oh no! what to wear in stylish Buenos Aires!! where it is HOT!
and then the final squeeze.. how to get that suitcase shut.. but too late now to try to throw anything out so sitting on it is the last resort.

and I am off.. here now in the Qantas lounge, waiting the few hours until the beginning of the 16.5 hour leg - Sydney to Buenos Aires. Valerian and melatonin and homeopathic jet lag pills in hand - something will surely help me sleep? Knowing the risks of real sleeping pills ..konk you out so much that you run the risk of deep vein thrombosis. No thank you .. the Antarctica adventure is way too important to land up in hospital that way, or worse.

Sahaja is holding the fort at home - so if you need anything from Best Health - she will take very good care of you. and in the meantime, before the next posting here - have a great Christmas.. I will talk to you from Buenos Aires and give you the first impressions from there.

Is Your House Killing You? - Solutions...

The popular TV series on SBS has woken lots of people up to the possible hidden dangers in their houses and environment.

Here at Best Health we have been looking for a good air purifier - ioniser for some time now - and finally our friends at Healthstart have come up with a product that we can really endorse. The statistics on it in comparison to other purifiers on the market stack up really well and the price is good too. I don't usually use this blog as an advertising medium but this information is really worth getting out there.

There are too many people suffering from allergies - being totally blocked up in their heads, having to take way too many medications to try to alleviate their problems and cleaning and ionising the air in their homes and offices can have a profound effect on their ability to live their lives to the full.

If this is something you are interested in have a look at the info on our site or call us for more details. We are getting some in stock next week and you can come by if you like and see it in action.
